The Genealogy Gangster Foundation!

What is the Genealogy Gangster Foundation

I am sorry I have not written for a few days I have been engrossed in getting the Genealogy Gangster Foundation up and running. I think it’s important to give back to the community when you have been so blessed by it.

Thank you for supporting our blog and philanthropic work!

I want to thank all of my family and friends who visit this page often. I call yall my tribe in the most affectionate way. I wanted to talk to you about a few things as to why I feel that the work we are doing is crucial at this time.

The Genealogy Gangster foundation was founded to teach inner city children the lost art of Family History and Genealogy. I think people in the world today are lost when they don’t know who their ancestors were and not having a sense of self and pride.

We Need Your Help Please!

We need your help in order to be able to do the work for these low-income communities. We are picking places with low median incomes (AKA the Hood) and we have already begun by writing and submitting a grant to fund our first programs.

But things are not free in this work. We still need finances to buy the laptops that will serve as our mobile computer lab. We also need funds to buy a mobile printer and resources for the kids. Can we count on your help?

Find out how YOU can go to Cabo or Vegas by winning our raffle!

We are holding a raffle that will end in three days from now. It is for a trip to Cabo San Lucas and a Vegas vacation as a consolation prize. There are very few tickets sold. We need your help. Maybe you cant donate financial or items to our cause. But we know you can share this link. More awareness of our cause and our initial fundraising drive will help us reach our goals for the raffle!
