Frighting News Came Today For My Family

Life Throws Curve Balls

Today i found out that yet again my wife has been hit with bad news. They are closing the K-Mart store my wife works at. My wife and her work ethic has been a huge reason why i have been able to chase my dreams. Wishful Wednesday has usually been a way for me to express dreams to meet ancestors. But now i am turning to a wish that t now have which is making it to roots tech this year. I now have been given an opportunity to to be press for a news outlet here here in Denver.

Life can never be easy.

Sometimes life deals us curve balls. My wife had just started employment with her current employer and was moving up the chain of command rather well. She was now a Service Clerk which is a supervisory position. She worked hard to get there when now all of a sudden she gets news of losing her job due to her store closing. This puts her in a bad position for one she is not going to be able to make RootsTech with me.

She will need to be working every single minute they can give her so we can maybe save up for when she is out of work. But this also makes RootsTech very hard for me to afford. Spending a week in Salt Lake, having to feed myself while there, paying for hotel rooms and transportation and hopefully the lunches will be very expensive. I crowdfunded my way there last year and i need to do it again this year.

Can You Help?

I have set up a go fund me campaign. If you can help by donating that would be amazing. If you cant by simply spreading the word to others you are helping. I need to do this before the 15th of January as GofundMe pays in a staggering way. Please consider helping me. I would be so grateful and so appreciative for your help! I also extend this post into my Thankful Thursday post! And stay tuned on my youtube channel for my interview with Thom Reed of FamilySearch today!
